Description
K’gari (Fraser Island) is the largest sand island in the world, where Banksia grow into small trees in the deep sands. I photographed them using an infrared converted camera. As the infrared images were monochrome, colour was added by blending the image with a scan of a coloured texture produced on a gelatin plate.
