This photo is a blend of multiple exposures, combined with the use of intentional camera movement (ICM) – to demonstrate the feeling of the salt marshes at Rye Harbour; the sense of lightness and airiness of the wide, flat land, and the particular plants that grow there. Significant colour shifts and a painterly effect have also been used on the reeds.
