This lotus image was originally shot as an in-camera multiple exposure. It was a lovely day, overcast with a slight breeze. The leaves of lotus and other aquatic plants appeal to me with their natural patterns, so I chose to incorporate images of them in the final composite; they added layers of depth and intricacy to the multiple layers of the lotus bloom.
