Description
For a number of years, this area known as the English Oak Meadow has been planted with numerous Papaver nudicaule (Icelandic poppies). When in full bloom, they create a carpet of mixed colours, and combined with the blossom of crab apple trees in the background – a truly a spectacular spring display occurs.
