This still life showcases the wonderful and spiky Eryngium plant (sea holly), I chose to add in items that could be found along the seashore, such as a starfish which I made out of polymer clay, a shell, found birds’ feathers - which my partner came across, and a bird’s nest with eggs (created by me - not taken from the wild).

The mini shelving was made from wood we had lying around - recycled by my partner specifically for use in my still life photography, and the moss was added to give extra pops of green to complement the blues of the sea holly.
