After picking some fresh redcurrants, I was so enamoured with their luscious jewel like colour - I thought they deserved to be put on a pedestal. Working in darkness, I used a flashlight to carefully paint light onto my subject and background. This ‘light painting’ technique allowed me to reveal the richness of the colours, and detail in the texture.
