At the end of the day (just before closing time) at Wentworth Woodhouse, when most visitors have left, one feels like they are the only person in the world. It is so quiet, with just the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and a few bird calls, the sound is then broken; with the odd pheasant call, of which there are numerous around the grounds.
