I was hurrying over to the main borders at Waterperry Gardens in Oxfordshire, just after sunrise in early June, when this beautiful scene caught my eye. Golden light streamed through green foliage and an arched stone bridge. I stopped in my tracks, and quickly set up my tripod to take a shot before the light changed.

The picture was enhanced by the lush spring plants growing in front of the bridge; including Aquilegia, Euphorbia and ferns.
