Pulsatilla vulgaris , common name pasqueflower, is part of the buttercup family and naturally grows in calcareous grassland in Europe. Kew Gardens have a number of these plants growing in their Alpine section. Pasqueflowers can be beautifully photogenic both in bud and full flower. I liked this particular composition because of the repetition of shape.
